President's Corner
Congratulations and Welcome to Northern Kentucky University!
Throughout your college career you will come to points in your life in which you will make decisions that will have a longer impact than you may realize. Your decision to attend Northern Kentucky University is an example of such. In the same aspect, your decision whether to join a Greek Organization will most assuredly have the same impact. Through my own personal experiences as a member of the NKU Greek Community, I have networked with individuals and been provided with opportunities I would have missed if not for my membership.
You may be trying to decide for yourself, “Why should I join a fraternity?” It is the elements that compose fraternal life that make this an easy decision to make. All four of our nationally recognized fraternities, Pi Kappa Alpha, Alpha Tau Omega, Tau Kappa Epsilon, and Sigma Phi Epsilon are bonded in the ideals of brotherhood, service, leadership, and academics. Through joining a fraternity you are not simply joining a group of guys to increase your social life, but engaging in an opportunity to establish yourself as a leader at NKU and within the surrounding community.
Joining a Greek Organization is a decision that requires dedication, hard-work, and a strong will to become a well balanced- man. Great people go to college, but the best Go Greek!
